(that not much time is left and I’ll be leaving soon) but that doesn’t mean I am! I’ll try to keep this reflections-on-the-life-of-a-GET-student as short as I can. =)
Everything started with us joining the course sometime in march/april 2006 (I think). We were flooded with a heck-lot of mumbo-jumbo from the lecturers using weird lingo like CGPA, C152, C-this and C-that. Now, we spout that lingo with the flair and ease that bespeaks a senior year student (and proud of it). My class has been glued together right from the start due to our collective love of games, the fact that we were given the chance to manage the gaming club, as well as the wonderful sofa that our beloved lab-tech gave us in the club =X Speaking of the gaming club, our ‘boss’ aka Mr Joshua Liew tasked us with making it as comfortable, and as attractive to prospective members as possible. How? We trawled the entirety of Singapore for anime figurines, game figurines, soft-toys and the like to decorate the club. And when christmas came (I know starting a sentence with the word ‘and’ is wrong, but wth =X), we put up christmas decorations! And then there was that one time we cosplayed anime and movie characters to publicize GET during the TP Open House. It was so hot and stuffy in the costume, and I remember downing 3 cans of 100plus at the end of each day, non-stop!
Its tough to think it has been 2+years now, and we’ve only got 4 weeks of lessons, 1 week of presentation, a few months of Major Project and Internship, and it’d be all over. But there’s no need to miss us, dear friends, classmates, coursemates, and lecturers! The industry is a small place indeed, and I’m quite sure we’d see each other again someday, sometime, in some situation or another.

Great and certainly very meaningful post, Samuel.
As hard to believe as this may sound, the best points of anyone’s life seem to be when one is a student. It’s certainly true for mine; I had far more fun experiences as a student than when I was working.
